| What's a W O O D E N T I L E? Karen Deans' WOODEN TILES are an affordable way to bring the elegance, creativity and vision of fine art and design into your life. |
| Each WOODEN TILE is an archival print of an original oil painting by Karen, who draws inspiration from vintage textiles, contemporary design and patterns in nature. Karen creates digital images of each design and has them reproduced onto Strathmore watercolor paper using oil-based inks for vivid color, lightfastness and longevity. Each print is then individually hand-mounted onto a painted tile frame. Karen uses only the finest archival paints, mediums and varnishes to create each tile. They are individually signed and numbered in limited runs of 100. |
| What to do with a WOODEN TILE? Just hang them on the wall with a simple hook. Like patches in a quilt they may be arranged in endless combinations, expressing colors and patterns that speak to your own personal style. One of Karen's clients alternates tiles in her home according to seasons. Others have grouped two, three and four tiles on their wall as accents. Yet another has installed 20 WOODEN TILES and created a dramatic focal point in her dining room. WOODEN TILES are available in six and eight inch squares. |
